Tom Kaulitz is a well-known German musician and filmmaker. He is presently a guitarist for the band Tokio Hotel. The musician is best known as the twin brother of Bill Kaulitz who is the lead singer of Tokio Hotel.

Tom started playing guitar when he was seven years old. He received his first guitar when he was nine years old by his step-father. Also, his step-father owns a music school called,’ Rock’s cool.’

Together with his twin brother, they start their own band and began living in Magdeburg performing at the age of 10 however, there was a lack of a drummer and a bass player in their band. In 2001, the twin brother met bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schafer.

Eventually, they formed a band named Devilish but later renamed Tokio Hotel. Afterward, they signed with Universal Music Group’s Interscope Records and released their debut LP Schrei in 2005. Since then the band has sold over 10 million CDS worldwide.

Currently, he is the lead guitarist of the band Tokio Hotel. He also modeled for a Reebok shoe commercial in 2010. From where he gets over 10 pairs of shoes per week. He has also appeared in the 1994 TV movie Verruckt Nach dir.
