Tamica Lee was born on November 22, 1978, to father Vivian Lee and mother, Cynthia Guillaume Lee. Her father played NFL cornerback for the New Orleans Saints from 1971-76. She and her brother Sonny Lee were raised by her mother after her dad’s death in 1984 when she was six years old. Currently 41 years old, attended Ursuline Academy in New Orleans. Later, she attended the University of Louisiana Lafayette, majoring in Communications and Dance.

After getting a degree, Tamica started teaching hundreds of high school dancers and coordinating logistics. She worked as a cheerleader for Saints alongside  Hannah Cormier. Also, she started working on Super Bowl pregame shows. Moreover, she founded the Advance Dance Agency and t. Lee Vision uses her experience of dancing. However, a sudden health issue related to a tumor on her back changed her life. After removing her cancer, she decided to work on television and approached New Orleans WWL-TV about the possibility of working.

Luckily, when the super bowl came into her hometown, she got a chance to do a small activity, resulting in a full-time job as a Morning Traffic anchor. Nevertheless, Tamica’s dream came true after she got the opportunity to work alongside her idol Sally Ann Roberts on the New Orleans CBS affiliate WWL-TV. It is the same show which gained her popularity across New Orleans.

Married Barry Smith

Tamica married Barry Smith on November 30, 2007, in an intimate ceremony at Destin, FL. Barry owns a FUEL Center of Fitness, which offers tons of workout programs and classes in the New Orleans area. The couple dated for a couple of years and appeared in a show, Southern charms New Orleans together. The love birds looked extremely happy on their wedding day when she wore a beautiful white gown, and her husband wore a blue suit, as seen in the pictures.

Additionally, Tamica is the proud mother of two beautiful children. She and Barry are blessed with a son named Hunter Smith, born on January 17, 2002, and a daughter Rani Smith, born on October 18, 2008. Her stepmom Hunter from Barry’s previous relationship. Both of her kids are in their teens and pursuing their studies.
