After his current dad, Magic got infused with HIV, the couple decided to adopt rather than take the risk of giving birth to an infected child.

Ultimately after, a few years after welcoming their first daughter EJ Johnson, Magic and cookie decided to expand their family. During that time, they found Elisa and decided to adopt her.

According to various tabloids, her biological mother was just 17  when she had Elisa, so she could not take care of the responsibility of a young baby and decided to give up for adoption.

The 23-years-old Instagram star grew up with the Johnson family since her adoption in 1995. However, she recently reunited with her biological parents on Elisa’s brother E.J. Johnson’s reality show, “EJNYC.”

In the show, Elisa’s biological mother revealed she gave her daughter for adoption because of love, not for selfishness.  What is more, the video featured emotional bonding between mother and daughter. It even documented that their passion hasn’t faded at all after years.
