Lyamin continued with CSKA Moscow in RSL till the season of 2002006-07.
He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft with the 58th overall pick in the second round.
After the draft, Lyamin spent another two seasons with CSKA before signing a new deal with HC Khimik Moscow Oblast in the Russian Superleague (RSL), where he played forty games through the 2007-08 season.
In 2008, Kirill Lyamin signed with Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He played fifty-four games for the team in the season of 2008-09 and forty-eight games in the season of 2009-10.
Lyamin played forty-nine games for Severstal Cherepovets in KHL in the season of 2010-11. On 24 May 2011, Lyamin signed a two-year deal with Avangard Omsk.
He played forty-nine games for the team in the season of 2011-12, thirty-seven games in the season of 2012-13, fifty-two games in the season of 2013-14, and fifty-seven games in the season of 2014-15.
Kirill Lyamin moved to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of KHL for the season of 2015-16 and continued with the team in the next season.
Apart from that, he has also represented Russia in various international tournaments. They are IIHF World U18 Championships in 2004 and 2006.
