Jenn Gotzon was born in  Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on May 18, 1979, as Jennifer Lee Gotzon. Jenn’s father, Ronald Gotzon, worked as a  fishing lure manufacturer and inventor. Her mother, Jo-Ann Gotzon, was a tax accountant. Furthermore, Jenn is the middle child of her parents. She has an elder brother, Marcus Travares who is nine- years older than her; likewise, her younger sister, Michelle, is ten years younger than Jenn.

Gotzon grew up in the country-side of Northampton, Pennsylvania. Her parents were very supportive and encouraged Jenn to participate in various school activities and to be active in sports. As a result, Jenn became an avid skier, an all-star softball player for seven years. She was trained for gymnastics and was a member of the student council, where she learned leadership skills.

Jenn Gotzon attended Northampton Area High School, and in the year 1997, she graduated with high honors.  Since the age of fifteen, she began pursuing a career in acting and modeling after working with Chartreuse Talent Management. Her passion and dedication for acting made her study acting for seven years. She graduated from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Clay Banks Film Acting Studio, Joanne Baron / DW Brown Studio, and several other independent acting and film classes. She also attended Northampton Community College from 1997 till 1998.
