Detox Icunt is an American drag performer and recording artist. He has appeared in RuPaul’s Drag Race season 5 and is the runner-up of RuPaul’s Drag Race: AllStar season 2.

Detox was born Matthew Sanderson on June 3, 1985, in Orlando, Florida, USA, to Patty and Tom Sanderson.

She has a twin brother named Michael and a sister, Heather.

Detox was educated at Manatee High School, Bradenton, Florida, and later on graduated from South View High School,  Hope Mills, North Carolina, the United States in 2003.

In 2009, she met with a car accident and underwent reconstructive surgery on her forehead. And before coming into the limelight, she was a fixture in the Southern California drag scene.

Music Career of Detox Icunt

In March 2012, William Belli released “Chow Down,” a parody of “Hold On” by Wilson Philips. The song featured Detox Icunt and Vicky Vox, who co-wrote the parody’s lyrics.

Together they released several other singles: “Boy is a Bottom,” a parody of “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys which debuted at number six on Billboard‘s Comedy Digital Songs, selling 3,000 downloads in its first week.

Detox and Vicky Vox also made “Silicone”, a parody of “Dancing on My Own” by Robyn; and “Blurred Bynes”, a parody of “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke.

In 2013, Detox Icunt, along with a few other artists, released the tracks ‘Boy Is a Bottom’, ‘Can I Get an Amen,’ ‘Silicone’, and ‘Blurred Bynes.’
