Clive Owen’s career in the entertainment industry began with television. His first television debut series was “Rockliffe’s Babies” in 1987 as PC Parslew. Then he was seen in a BBC production of Precious Bane in 1988, and starred in Channel 4 Vroom before the 1990s and in the ITV series Chancer as a lead character.
He was featured with Halle Berry in his first big Hollywood movie, The Rich Man’s Wife in 1996. Clive further made an appearance in a BBC 1 drama, The Echo, and BBC 1 mystery series Second Sight, and lent his voice to the BBC2 documentary Walk On By.
In the summer of 2001, Clive rose to fame from North American viewers for his roles as “The Driver” in the short film “The Hire”. He also made an appearance in The Bourne Identity (2002).
Later, Clive was seen in “Children of Men” in 2006, which was nominated for various awards including the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. In 2009, he made an appearance in The Internation, a film narrated as a “paranoid political thriller”.
