Ray Nagin is an American Politician, best known as the 60th mayor of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is renowned for his role in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In the year 2014, Nagin was accused of money laundering as well as twenty of twenty-one charges of wire fraud and was sentenced to ten years in federal prison.

Ray Nagin is also a founder of CRN Initiatives LLC, that focuses mostly on emergency preparedness, green energy product development, and public speaking.

In the year 2002, he won the New Orleans mayoral election with the 29% of the vote in the first round and then 59% of the votes in the last round and was elected as the 60th mayor of New Orleans.

And in the year 2006, he won the election second time with the 52% of the vote in the final round. He founded 100 Black Men of America and served as its president for several years. He is also honored with a Young Leadership Council Diversity and Role Model Award. After elected as the mayor, Ray made New Orleans a better place within a short period of time.
